Comm set up

Hi all! The mingle log's more successful in getting interaction going, so I was wondering how you'd feel if I posted a meme from time to time? Bodyswap, Trapped In A _____, Forced Telepathy, etc.? Some people told me the openness of a DR is keeping them from posting, so...

Reply here with your two cents if you like.

While I thought this place could have had a long fitting theme (hence why I had Joan begin as a villain), maybe some places can be introduced, with their respective options and things to do while in there as a show of worldbuilding and continuity. Maybe something set in the Silver Millennium, a stroll through Tokyo to either purchase things or fight a new monster, or something in a villain's lair. Showing people the options they have can give ideas.

On another thing, perhaps the comm could be advertised even on bakerstreet, though advertising it on plurk might be the most adequate by now as most of the community is on there by now, as well as most Sailor Moon players I know.

Yeah, that was what Lazdo (first mod) and I hoped for - characters reacting to this space-time nonsense, trying to fix it (it messes with everyone, after all)...that might've been more successful in the upped commitment of a game, but we weren't sure there was enough interest.

I'll think on one-place-as-mingle-post. It's a good idea, just not sure what to do about characters who'd be there but aren't played. Hurricanes of handwaving...maybe some of the options could be from different times, too? Places like the Silver Millennium and Crystal Tokyo were endless happy peace fountains, too, so I dunno what could give people something to do there beyond skipping to Then The _____ Nation Attacked.

Not sure advertising on BS is allowed. If I just threw up a link to the comm, I mean - haven't seen that, though there ARE a surprising amount of SM players there. I did mention the comm in the latest Roll Call meme and Enable Me Plz, but those're pretty hit-and-miss in terms of who's around that time.

I'm really new to Plurk, so not sure how to advertise. Could you give me some pointers?

Pardon the slowness! Anyway, what most people do to advertise on plurk is first creating an account for a particular game, and given you can mostly communicate with folk you've either friended or have added you as a fan, you'd have to rely on word of mouth through plurk. Basically, when you create an account for Galaxy Cauldron, you'd do well in having a few people that already play Sailor Moon to replurk/spread out the message itself in which you announce it, which would help getting people to see the game.

On advertising on BS, I meant on making the memes themselves on Galaxy Cauldron, and then posting the link to them on BS so people can be redirected to the musebox.

And yeah, different timelines and different universes might work better, especially as there'd be many versions of the senshi existing.

Oh. Yeah, I've already made one. [plurk.com profile] spiritsfate! A couple members here have friended me, but now I dunno what to do with it.

Hmm...well, there's the obvious one (magical girl AU). I'll PM the BS mod and see if the redirect's all right. And hey, no need to apologize - without you very little would be going on.
